BIOGRAPHY

Lowell's large striking paintings reflect a deep respect and enthusiasm for the majesty of creation. Living in El Dorado County for thirty years he has been a student of natural history and careful observer of native trees, wild life and the world-class scenery of the Sierra Nevadas.

His Work is a blend of realistic and impressionistic paintings styles. The realism illustrates the specific characteristics of the flora, fauna and natural surroundings, while the impressionism is blended to enhance the mood and feelings of the painting.

Lowell lives with his wife Claudia on a beautiful pine and oak covered hillside overlooking a canyon and waterfall.
